Get Ready for School!

Be ready with your school supplies. You can drop them off at our Open House on Friday, August 16 9:00-10:00am. Find the lists for Grades K-6 here.

Summer Hours

Our summer office hours through July 31 will be 9am - 3pm for phone calls and visits. New families who are registering their child can call Ms. Sara Merino Paz, our Student Information Assistant, at 703-721-2100 to set up time to review registration documents. On August 1, our office hours will move to 8am-4:30pm.

Happy 75th Birthday to Us!

We are celebrating our 75th birthday this year! Mount Eagle has been going strong since 1949. Come join us on Saturday, September 14th from 12noon-3pm to celebrate.

Apply for Early Learning for Children Six Weeks to Four Years Old

The FCPS PreK and Early Head Start program is accepting applications for SY 2024-25. FCPS PreK and Early Head Start programs provide a high-quality early learning experience for qualifying income-eligible children ages six weeks to four years living in Fairfax County.

FCPS To Host Instructional Job Fair on Wednesday, July 31

Fairfax County Public Schools wants you to be a part of our team! We are seeking educator talent with strong student engagement skills and a passion for having a positive influence on our school communities. We are hosting a job fair on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Mount Vernon High School. There will be networking and interviewing opportunities with representatives from various FCPS schools. Employment offers may be extended during the fair.
